As a 3rd year student studying Bachelor’s degree in computer science at Harvey Mudd College, I have over three years of Python and Java experience, two years in C++, JavaScript, and HTML & CSS, as well as digital design skills in Photoshop and Blender. Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Frontend Development are the fields that I am focusing on and am passionate about pursuing.Currently, I am taking the Data Mining course where I am analyzing patterns in data sets using mathematical and data science concepts. I will be gaining experience working with Machine Learning models like Logistic Regression, Support Vector Machines, and Neural Networks. With these data science concepts, my goal is to bring Machine Learning skills when working with a team in industries. Recently, I was on a summer research team at Harvey Mudd College developing WasteWise, a startup app for efficient waste disposal using object detection technology. We’ve implemented ChatGPT Object Detection API into our app in order to identify the recyclability of an item. I have co-developed the frontend home and profile user interface of the app using React Native and Expo, and I developed a deep understanding of using ChatGPT LLM as a tool. I was a project manager for a software development team interning at the 3D printing company LNL3D Solutions where our goal was to develop and implement a source code for 3D printers, where each individual printer head could take over a print process during filament runout. This project demanded quick learning in the 3D printing language Klipper and leadership abilities in collaborative environments. With these experiences, I believe I am able to bring a wide range of skills from areas like software development, digital design, and project management to the table. I really enjoy challenging myself with technical projects that involve great complexities where I can gain new skills in multidisciplinary areas with a team of people.
