I served in the U.S. Navy as a Naval Intelligence Officer and Surface Warfare Officer during Operation Iraqi Freedom, where I gained valuable experience in national security and defense.I am passionate about giving back to my community through public service. I volunteer on the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross of Northern California Coastal Region and the Board of Advisors for Shields & Stripes, a non-profit organization that assists veterans and first responders with PTSD. I also hold multiple credentials, including a CISSP, an EMBA, an MA, and a BS. I am a leader, startup advisor, veteran, and dyslexic thinker. DreamFactory solves this by making it easy to securely put REST APIs on any database or file source. We are automating the creation of secure, scalable REST APIs by mapping a database or file source schema directly into an API schema, thus removing the need for writing an OpenAPI Specification.Every DreamFactory is built with industry best practice security control: Role-Based Access, API key management, Authentication (SSO, OAuth, SAML, AD), and Rate Limiting. The scripting engine allows for complete customization and modification of APIs. Our automated documentation means you'll never have out-of-date or missing API documentation. DreamFactory is a lightweight app that can be run on bare metal, VMs, and in a container. We have DreamFactory running on Raspberry Pis at an edge site and in large Kubernetes clusters. The use of DreamFactory allows for a single repository of an organization's internal or private APIs which avoids zombie APIs, missing documentation/institutional knowledge, and the assurance all internal APIs have properly implemented security controls.
