Worked with Sales, Marketing, Account Management and Brokers in facilitating selection and delivery of Value-Added Wellness Education Programs/Services at employer work sites for building client relationships/member retention.Involved in the creation of ConnectiCare's internal employee wellness committee that grew into a vigorous element of the wellness culture to a point that our activities, initiatives and participation results were represented as a model for customer employer groups engaged in Wellness Strategies with the health plan.Encountered growing number of employer groups that could not allow their employees the full, one-hour educational programs that were the standard offering. Was committed to bringing some form of wellness education to these customers, despite this time constraint. Created Wellness Interactive Booths as a “quick touch” 15 minute educational stand-alone, using eye-appealing displays/related props, where employees could come to engage in a brief wellness coaching activity including getting their individual questions answered by health professionals and receive related educational materials to take with them. This allowed employer groups to bring wellness coaching and education to their employees without experiencing an interruption in their core workflow processes. The topics that were fashioned into Educational Booths included Portion Distortion, Sitting Disease, Rethink Your Drink, Stress Less Booth and 9 other topics.

Persuaded VP of Sales and Marketing in 1998 to allow me to replace full time Wellness Manager open position to part-time wellness support. Within six months, I built that position into one that ran the Corporate Wellness Area as a ConnectiCare branded initiative that has been delivering up to 350 high quality and effective wellness programs and services annually since that time to engage employer groups' employees in lifestyle wellness activities.
