Strategic leadership of organization supporting local United Ways in 45 countries outside the United States; Board relationship management; fund-raising; program development; change management; led transition through merger.In July 2009, United Way of America and UWI successfully merged to form UWW requiring resolution of enterprise-level challenges in finance, staff alignment, board membership, reporting, building the capacity of the network. Guided the integration using leadership and change management skills to create a worldwide network of local United Ways capable of leading community change to advance the common good. Key Accomplishments: *Resolved UWI’s significant financial reporting problems during first year as CEO. *Led UWI’s multi-year transition process and retained key board members and staff.*Raised $3 million in recurring annual support and $32 million in annual international donor-advised grants.*Created new local United Ways in Bangalore, Chennai, New Delhi and Hubli-Dharwad (India) and new national United Ways in India, France, Honduras and Panama, in conjunction with local business and governmental leaders.*Collaborated with 10 members of the leadership team, designed and implemented the strategy and systems for governance, partnerships, technology and staffing for UWW. *Initiated development of compliance audit for Member Requirements and self-assessment for Global Standards, with accompanying documentation and systems.*Championed key business concepts for data management across merging departments, including the use of SalesForce.com to capture data for international partners. *Oversaw $5million in tsunami reconstruction efforts in India, Indonesia and Thailand.
