I have a BSc, MSc and PhD in Zoology and Tropical Ecology specialising in venomous animals of the tropics. I have built a varied career combining 20 years of scientific research with television production and a private consultation work. My passion is contributing to the active use and management of our natural world and especially by make science accessible and inspirational to all. I have developed strong communication skills, team management and project leadership. In 2018 I launched the company Scientific Synergy with my best friend and fellow scientist extraordinaire Dr. Matt Gordon. This company serves as a platform for 'communicating science' in the various formats in which we dabble.
