I directly support the Assistant Commissioner of Travel, Transportation and Logistics and lead communications, mentorship, and DEIA initiatives.

As part of the Employee Relocation Resources Center team at GSA, I offered support services that allow agencies to give their employees a smooth transition to new work locations. I helped agencies establish procurement strategies and implemented the most effective and cost-efficient programs that responded to their individual cultures and philosophies.

Within the Office of the Third Goal and Returned Volunteer Services at Peace Corps, I managed the marketing for a robust community of 235,000 program alumni and 30,000 educators. I successfully led marketing efforts for events such as Peace Corps Week, recurring contests, and Volunteer engagement. I revitalized the social media presence of the department and consistently led email marketing efforts that resulted in engagement rates well above industry standards.

I led the marketing and recruitment strategy of US and Canadian students to attend King’s College London either on a short-term study abroad or exchange program or to complete a graduate degree. I collaborated with universities and the British Council to promote British higher education to prospective students. I negotiated and secured new exchange partners for King’s and increased exchange numbers across existing partners. I analyzed and designed the marketing and communications strategy for study abroad in North America and worked closely with my colleague to develop and implement the marketing strategy for North America as a whole. I managed e-marketing campaigns, wrote and oversaw production of print marketing pieces, presented at conferences and workshops, and represented the university at events.

As the International Coordinator for the United Kingdom and Ireland in the Arizona State University Study Abroad Office, I was solely responsible for the programming in my region; this included exchange relationships and balances, advising students, processing applications, and leading orientations, budgeting and promotion of faculty-directed programs, and seeking new partnerships that advanced ASU's mission and met the needs of students and academic departments. I also served on the Marketing Team, where we set the agenda for marketing efforts for our office and planned and executed major events such as the study abroad fair and advisor breakfast. Through a team structure, I helped shape policy and the office's agenda on several key topics. These included the Health and Safety Team, acting as the primary author of the Crisis Communication Plan and Facutly Director Emergency Handbook; the Incoming Exchange Student Team, where I developed a "buddy program" and helped supervise a living learning residential community; the Marketing Team where I helped set the marketing agenda for the office and planned large events such as the Study Abroad Fair; and, finally, I served as the head of the Technology Team, managing our CRM, and finding ways to better utlize our database system. I acted as the point person for questions and troubleshooting not only for all the International Coordnators, but serving all members of the Study Abroad Office and university partners. I also served as a resource for other professionals in the study abroad field who were looking for ways to better utilize student data management software.

I wrote grants and completed projects with grant moneys won. I taught computer and English language skills. I learned and became proficient in the Romanian language. I worked with an after school program for at risk children and completed arts and crafts projects and encouraging creativity. I developed websites for five organizations and taught Moldovans how to maintain these website. I organized educational and entertainment programming for senior citizens day center. I worked with an organization on developing promotion materials to encourage local and international fundraising. I restructured and led the Volunteer Mentor Program which acts as a mentoring and in-country orientation program for incoming Peace Corps Volunteers. I liaised with, helped orient, and acted as a translator for international volunteers from the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, and Belgium who visited the senior citizens center.

I managed recruitment for 19 semester and several short-term programs via study abroad fairs, campus visits, and creation and distribution of promotional materials. I managed participant enrolment for 12 semester programs and one summer program. I created company policies and programs including the emergency management plan, affiliate program, employee newsletter, and alumni relations. I performed resident director services for faculty-led program in Melbourne, Australia. I assisted with in-country student orientation. I updated and maintained the company website.
