Dr. Teresa Danforth is a fellowship-trained urologist and surgeon who specializes in female urology, neurogenic bladder and male voiding dysfunction. Her clinical practice focuses on the treatment of female and male incontinence and voiding dysfunction as well as female pelvic organ prolapse. Dr. Danforth also provides specialty care to patients with neurologic disorders including spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, diabetes and spina bifida, among others. Dr. Danforth has published work in multiple areas of urology, with focus on neurogenic bladder research, and has made presentations nationally and internationally. As a recognized expert in urological diagnosis and treatment, Dr. Danforth is a submission reviewer for a number of urology publications and programs.Dr. Danforth is also very involved in teaching medical students and residents through the University at Buffalo. She is currently the Associate Program Director of the Department of Urology where she has an integral part in the development and education of the urology residents and the residency program.
