My career in Healthcare began in 2008 as a certified Medical Laboratory Science (MLT, ASCP). I have been working as a Laboratory Information Systems Analyst since 2020. My expertise lies in SoftLab 4.0.8 applications (SoftLab, SoftMic, SoftPath etc). My primary focus involves root cause analysis, project tasks and management, data gathering and reporting, system and instrument interfaces, support services, test build and implementation as well as working with other vendor systems (Epic, Data Innovations, Roche-Cobas Infinity). I am also certified through AHIMA as a Medical Coder (CCA). I incorporate this knowledge into my current role by ensuring appropriate billing codes are applied to test builds in the LIS and are communicating from the LIS to HIS system as expected.
