Mobilization and Operations Policy Officer for Office of the Chief of Navy ReserveAdvised the Chief of Navy Reserve on operations, mobilization, and strategic depth of Navy Reserve. • Authored policy to improve Navy Reserve’s strategic depth and align with national strategy approved by the Secretary of the Navy. • Navy Mobilization Working Group member setting industry standards and unifying effort for Great Power Competition (GPC) mobilization planning. Ensured stakeholder support for Chief of Navy Reserve integration in requests for Reserve Component activation/deactivation. Diversified the one method of mobilization into mission-specific pathways, aligning Reserve Component utilization to Fleet Design and enabling mass mobilization.• Led a team of industry leaders in the assessment of wins and challenges surrounding a COVID deployment. Developed Navy-wide standards approved by Vice Chief of Naval Operations. • Continuity of Operations (COOP) representative for Navy Reserve, participated in exercises, training events, and prepared senior leaders for real-world COOP capabilities. • Served as Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Victim Advocate and provided OPNAV-wide training.

Commanding Officer, Navy Operational Support Center CharlestonDirected 17 full time personnel in the support of 16 Reserve units for over 300 Navy Reserve Sailors.• Reserve Component Command Jacksonville Command Assessment resulting in 93% compliance. 100% compliance during Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness inspection. 100% Sailor retention and increased Sailor advancement rate to 50%. • Maintained high regional metrics including over 90% medical/dental readiness, 96% physical readiness test passing rate, and 99% financial obligation rate. • Transitioned command to an alternate work location after main facility became unsafe ensuring uninterrupted mission accomplishment including 100% of pre-mobilization requirements were met for 60 mobilizing and 29 demobilizing Sailors despite staff reduction of 20%. • Dedicated to positive command climate and saw an increase of 8% during the 2019 survey with 97% favorable rating for Senior Leadership.During this time I was also a foster parent who cared for a sibling group of three children for over two years.

Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Officer for Navy ReserveEnsured compliance with Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) mandates for 59,000 Sailors. • Prepared Congressional testimony for Chief of Navy Reserve, Vice Chief of Naval Operations, and Department of Defense SAPRO. Briefed Reserve specific SAPR issues senior leaders. • Independently prepared the Annual Report to Congress on Sexual Assault for the Navy Reserve. • Inspected five command’s SAPR programs with the Chief of Navy Reserve Force Command Assessment Team and provided training and mentorship for leaders at multiple echelons. Assisted with the command climate survey, conducted focus groups, prepared Plan of Action and Milestones and briefed leadership on findings.• Authored a comprehensive Navy Reserve SAPR instruction, consolidating all Reserve guidance. Created a briefing card for Commanding Officers to facilitate efficient communication with flag officers. Ensured Navy Reserve input was included in Department of Defense and Navy instructions.• Identified and resolved gaps in the Psychological Health Outreach Program, ensuring all Reserve Sailors had access to mental health care.• Oversaw the Cultural Diversity Team through monthly presentations on cultural differences and inclusion. Core member of the Resiliency Team focused on preventing destructive behavior.

As Maintenance Officer:• Led 112 Sailors through 4 major isochronal inspections, 3 aircraft modifications, and 2 aircraft inductions into depot level maintenance while supporting real-time global operations.• Exceptional results during the Maintenance Program Assessment (MPA) and Aviation Maintenance Inspection (AMI) with 34 on-track programs during MPA and 35 on-track programs during the AMI setting the benchmark for all C-130T squadrons.As Operations Officer: • Led 13 Sailors personnel in the planning and execution of global flight operations for 4 aircraft and 50 pilots and aircrew flying over 2,200 flight hours, transporting 1,600 passengers and 3.2 million pounds of cargo including the completion of 235 logistics missions and 3 successful detachments to the Middle East and Europe. • Officer-In-Charge of the Middle East detachment responsible for over 20 personnel and one aircraft flying international logistics missions.• Managed the squadron’s $10.7 million temporary Additional Duty and Reserve Program budgets. The DTS/NROWS program recognized as best in the wing with a 94% accuracy rate.
