Handled all things Business Office. Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Journal Entries, Financial Aid, Student Billing, Sales Tax Exemption and above all customer service to parents, employees and vendors.

I handled Sales & Use Tax as well as Personal Property Tax for all branch locations. I made sure all taxes were reported and paid correctly. Real property tax and assessment was collected and provided to management for various purchase and sales analyst. I was also responsible for hiring and managing outside tax resources for reduction of tax liability. Various other taxes were prepared and submitted to multiple states and their entities. I also handled collection of data for income taxes such as fringe benefits. My work brought me a wide range of employees to communicate with from branch managers to the CFO and CEO. My relationships with all parties was solidified with my wide range of communcation skills.

Organized and kept track of large and small capitalizable projects within the bank. Prepared and managed data for the sale and purchase of other banks. Incorporated information and data for use of managing branch locations and their expenses. Followed rules on how to best capitalize and asset for the term of its life.

ALL things AP! W9 requirements, data entry, and receipts management. Working with a large amount of teammates to make close out and other various dead lines. Communicated with branches and department to best suit their needs.

As a high school student, I was hired to perform small medial work such as filing, data entry and document scanning. After the year was over I was asked to continue my position and manage two other new student hires. My time at the coop was the start of a long relationship with the high school student hire program which has been used for over 20 years. As a student hire I was introduced to the world of accounting. I helped with journal entries and file management. The skills I learned during my time there has only increased over the year and am very grateful for the opportunity the COOP gave me.
