I am a marketing, business development and PR, freelance consultant with, in particular, over 30 years' experience of working with lawyers.I am currently retained by four clients on varying contracts, according to need. I specialise in providing practical business development and marketing support. I don't just advise my clients on what they should do but get on with making it happen. I primarily work with organisations without a senior level in-house marketing resource. I have over 30 years' experience in the professional services sector; particularly experience with law firms and accountancy practices but also significant experience with barristers chambers with in excess of 20 years retained work for two leading commercial sets and project work for a third.I have a business development experience and focus, particularly client management and new business pitches. I have an internal consultant approach, with good interpersonal and communication skills.I am happy to do soft training and coaching, especially with junior end fee earners.I cover the broad spectrum of business development, PR and marketing requirements from high level strategy to managing websites and social media.I will also consider reviewing directory submissions and project management of the process for Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 directories on a project rather than retainer basis.
