Senior Director Service Management, HR Portfolio, and PMO at Kaiser Permanente

• Responsible for leading and managing the HRIT Strategy as it pertains to Macy's and Bloomingdale's HR Systems, middle tier, interfaces and self-service solutions such as Oracle HCM Cloud, PeopleSoft, Salesforce, Taleo, Kronos, custom PaaS solutions, ODS, and many 3rd party vendors.• Works with Senior Management to develop strategic financial and operational performance targets which support improved company performance.• Partners with MacysTech, 3rd Party vendors, Corporate HR, HR Services, Front-line HR, and Consultants to document and map existing HR administration processes and existing systemic solutions in order to create and implement a "roadmap"​ for improved expense and operation performance as it relates to a new HR technology implementation.• Key member of the HR Reinvent Technology Team at Macy's leading the change from our on-premise PeopleSoft HCM 9.0 HR System to Oracle HCM Cloud Application for Core HR, Conversion, and integration of custom extensions. Knowledgeable in all areas of HR including but not limited to: Core HR, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, On-Boarding, Security, Employee Relations, Labor Relations, etc...• Technology focus on Employment (On-boarding, Requisitions, Forms, etc..), Terminations, Final Pay, Position Management, Absence Management, Payroll, Organizational Hierarchy, Compensation and Security for Oracle HCM Cloud.• Partnering with Macy's Technology on Reports, Integrations, Conversions, and Extensions (RICE) for Oracle HCM Cloud , ODS Middle Tier and PaaS Solutions for internal and external Macy's partners.

• Manages 10 direct reports consisting of Business Analysts and Systems Specialists who support the development and maintenance of Macy’s Inc. Human Resource Systems including Peoplesoft HCM 9.0 for core HR, Benefits, Payroll, Compensation, Employee Relations, multiple Associate & Manager Self-Service, Absence Management, Employment & On-boarding; Taleo for Talent Management, Recruiting, Performance, and Learn; and various 3rd party SaaS integrations.• Establishes and maintains the team to effectively accomplish Macy’s Inc. goals and objectives by building an effective team through coaching, training, mentoring, evaluating, and career planning in order to expand the team’s professional, management, leadership, and technical skills.• Ensures effective planning, organizing, prioritizing and delegating assignments to direct reports and team members through continual analysis of the workload and personal needs of the team and organizational unit. Responsibility include team results on quality measurements, including on-time delivery, meeting dead-lines, and adherence to policy and procedures.• Manages the resources necessary to support and execute all phases of multiple project life cycles with broad knowledge of the business and technical system applications to ensure the integrity, stability, and systems availability to the HR customer base.• Advises senior management on strategic plans and improvements to systems and processes as well as partners with customers to develop and execute business vision and strategic plans by identifying, recommending and implementing improvements to systems and processes.• Participates in Risk Assessment, Status Assessment, Budget Development, Team Creation, Communication Strategy, and Scope Assessment. • Implementation and/or development of State & City Sick Pay, Solutions in Store, PeopleSoft Database Conversion, Health Care Reform, Equifax I-9 SaaS integration, Credit Re-platform for Back Office Discount and HRIT Re-invent.

• Under general direction, independently works with customers to establish business needs and goals and elicits requirements for development of Human Resources, Finance, & Associate (HFA) systems solutions for moderately to highly complex projects.• Produces functional specifications and obtains customer approval as well as acts as liaison between the customer and the development team to determine and deliver the most effective solution by contributing to the design of systems and planning for systems testing and support.• Serves in the MST Solutions Framework roles of Product Manager, Project Manager, Testing Advocate, or User Advocate with professional maturity.• Experience working in an environment with a formal development methodology (CMMI, Six Sigma, etc.) in order to support and uphold the integrity of the Q4M processes and MST team’s process models.• Possesses strong retail, data processing systems, operational and logistics backgrounds.• 6+ years detailed functional experience with PeopleSoft HCM 8.3 & 9.0 with an emphasis on Human Resources and HRIS including knowledge of PeopleTools, Oracle SQL, PeopleSoft Query, and Data Model.• Implementation and/or development of Taleo Talent & Performance Management systems (SaaS), PeopleSoft Leave Management Systems and Macy's Associate Information Portal.

• Served as Timekeeping System Owner including Time Entry and Paid Time-Off (PTO). Oversaw all maintenance related to these systems as well as Backup System Owner for PeopleSoft.• Participated in the recommendations of new or modified systems to meet the company human resources management systems changing needs. Provided guidance and leadership in the system's support, analysis, development, and implementation of all HRIS System Training to all levels of users.• Managed all system conversions, upgrades and enhancements by participating in Systems Owner’s user meetings and calls as well as related activities.
