About Teresa Moore

As the Director of Organizational Services for SC State Housing Finance & Development Authority (SC Housing), I provide leadership and oversight for Human Resources, Communications, Procurement, and the Facilities division. In this role I also serve as a contributing member of the agency's leadership team, providing professional advice to the executive director, senior directors, and middle management, while giving practical guidance to all employees via agency support systems and services.Before joining SC Housing, I served as the Director of HR of Strategy Alignment and Integration at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. In this role, I drove the development, alignment, integration, and execution of strategic HR initiatives across the university, supporting 12,000 employees and 28,000 students.The majority of my HR career was spent at Yazaki, a Japanese automotive company near Detroit, where I served as the Senior HR Manager for all talent management strategies and initiatives, impacting 80,000 employees throughout the US, Canada, Mexico, Nicaragua, and El Salvador.Earlier in my career, I spent 13 years as a Broadcast Journalist and News Producer for ABC News, and an independent TV/Radio Station in Detroit.I love every aspect of my career and look forward to helping others do the same.
