My passion for questions on the effects of spaces and the (built) environment on human experience and behaviour lead me to pursue a degree in psychology at the University of Bamberg and continue my studies in this field at the Technical University Dresden. 🧠During my research internship at the Berlin School of Mind and Brain and working student position at the Interdisciplinary Forum Neurourbanism e. V., I was able to gain insights into and study the psychology and neuroscience of architecture, perception of public spaces, art in urban spaces and mental health in cities. 🏙Considering an international 🌏 and interdisciplinary education important and seeking a career in an interdisciplinary field, I furthermore participated in exchange programs in Japan 🇯🇵 and South Korea 🇰🇷 to expand my knowledge in Japanese design, urban trends in East Asia and human-centered technology, among other things. ⛩👾My main interests are human-environment interaction as well as mental health. 🧘🏾‍♀️With my empathy and attention to detail I want to make an impact at the intersection of psychology and design to enhance people's well-being and experiences in daily life. At an individual level, I want to help people flourish as a counsellor. ✨
