Reporting to the CMO, I drove critical business process development to assist this start up in beginning to scale. Specifically, worked directly with the Product Development team to generate the company's first ever Product Roadmap. This work was done in tight collaboration with Sales, Operations and senior leadership. Established several key Operations approaches, working closely with critical customers to begin to build the path to ongoing MRR growth for the company. Worked with a third party to build a proposal for the Engage Brand and positioning. Mined critical data to enable the company to present to key customers regarding results of programs and campaigns. Created and delivered customer presentations to save key accounts.

The core product metrics enable Product Manager to track their product line success. •Lead numerous large global programs to drive critical business improvements in HP’s complex business environment across Sales, Marketing and Services organizations and functions. Managed global teams in all cases with members from Europe, Asia and North America. Identified key business inhibitors, outlined strategies, and drove large and diverse teams in the development and execution of business improvements.•Implemented reporting tools to measure sales efficiency in HP’s multi-billion dollar sales organization in the Personal and Printing Systems organization. •Worked in HP’s Global Marketing team to help enable the rollout of the new HP Brand through process development and execution with the region and business marketing and brand teams. •Implemented HP’s largest ever content management system, working in conjunction with the businesses and IT, using HP’s Autonomy technology. Helped managed a $12M IT program as the business lead. Program estimated $50M savings over 3 years. •Led process simplification and system consolidation projects in the Printing business which drove over $60M in savings over the course of 3 years.

Participated on the Board of Directors as an advising member. Capstone Missions provides financial and physical support for the orphans and most poor in Tijuana, Mexico. We have many construction trips per year to Tijuana to improve the living conditions of the poorest there. We currently support 2 orphanages, one for special needs children.

• Hewlett Packard Indigo Acquisition – worked on the leadership team as the manufacturing manager to transition Indigo large format printers into HP ($13M revenue growing to $165M during this time). Drove assembly line development, quality process implementation, procurement programs, and new product introduction processes. Worked directly with the Israel based manufacturing team in Israel and procurement team in Singapore as well as engineers in the U.S. Directly managed a team of 12 development and procurement engineers.• Sole Proprietor, Discovery Technology and Cypress Semiconductor - Managed my own engineering and process consulting company. Developed and documented software and hardware QA processes for Cypress Semiconductor. Developed internal web site for quality management, engineering training, and process use. Helped design and implement these processes during a ‘buy out’ of InSystem Design by Cypress Semiconductor (acquisition experience). • Jabil Circuit and Hewlett Packard LaserJet Manufacturing Divestiture - As one of the 5 functional managers to transition the LaserJet manufacturing from HP to Jabil, managed a team of 80 technical employees including managers, engineers, technicians and model makers (30 direct reports). Designed, built and launched a new 170,000 sq. ft. Jabil facility and manufacturing floor helping to enable Jabil’s explosive growth between 1999 and 2000 (59% revenue growth to $3.6 billion) and creating hundreds of jobs in the Boise area. Managed many multi-million dollar production lines, a state of the art model shop, and a materials science lab.

• LaserJet Formatter Factory Engineering Manager (Boise) - Managed a team of 18 process engineers responsible for processes in the Formatter Factory. Developed major strategic initiatives included development of flip chip technology, highly automated production, and replication of processes in Bergamo, Italy. • Factory Development Engineering Manager (Vancouver). Managed a team of 10 engineers focused on ramping manufacturing processes for HP Inkjet formatters. Through use of high levels of automation, reduced the cost per placement of PC components from 12 cents to 3.5 cents per placement on millions of placements a year. • Material Handling Engineer (Vancouver). Responsibilities included selection of consultants, benchmarking other processes, recommendations for factory layout, and design of the material delivery system. Designed the highly automated material handling process through the conceptualization stage and into the beginning of implementation as well as capacity planning.• Manufacturing Engineering Manager (Boise). Managed 12 engineers and processes including chemical, mechanical, and electrical disciplines. Developed multiple new technologies making US manufacturing a competitive advantage in this space for a time (SMT, no-clean, and other "blue sky" technologies such as molded circuitry, conductive adhesives etc.). • DFM Engineer- Developed Design for Manufacturability approaches in the earliest days of LaserJet development. Worked closely with the manufacturing process development and the R&D teams. Designed snap fits and other manufacturability features for new products.• Robotics, Surface Mount Technology, and Factory Engineer - Designed, implemented and supported the SMT processes consisting of a combination of automated equipment and customized robotics as well as custom developed material handling systems. Developed the first ever robotic implementation in Boise production and leading edge in HP at the time.
