Registered Nurse on Telemetry Floor.-Performs head-to-toe assessments and accurately charts information to create focused treatment plans and manage ongoing care. -Coordinated care with physicians and other hospital staff about changes in patients clinical condition to prepare for treatment, carry out interventions and enhance patient care. -Efficient in educating and administering oral and IV medications to patients and monitor responses for concerns.-Provides pre- and post-op care and education for patients undergoing cardiac procedures and testing, such as Watchman procedures, cardiac ablations, cardiac catheterizations, stress testing and more.-Trained in the cardiac monitor room; calipers and interprets hospitalized patients telemetry strips and promptly notified floor nurses of any changes to cardiac rhythm.

-Responsible for assuming care of patients on critical care step-down unit.-Trained and mentored new-hire RNs on best practices, hospital policies, patient care skills, medical procedures and techniques, patient assessments and interventions as a preceptor. -Provided leadership to telemetry u nit; coordinated, tasked, and supervised nurses and ancillary staff based on staffing requirements as Charge RN.

-Delivered high-quality nursing care to patients in telemetry, neurology, stroke and post-op areas.-Educated patients, families and caregivers on disease processes, medications, procedures and nursing interventions.
