With over 20 years of experience in instruction, at different levels, I am passionate about facilitating learning through a variety of modalities and engaging learners in complex concepts. My mission is to empower through education, motivate toward excellence and inspire to excel. All while fostering a culture of diversity, inclusion, and collaboration. I currently work as a subject area facilitator and instructor at Wake County Public School System (WCPSS), the largest and most diverse school district in North Carolina.At WCPSS, I have held many leadership roles and contributed to several initiatives to improve student outcomes and teacher performance. I am a National Board Certified Teacher, a faculty professional development presenter, a SIP representative for science, and a club founder and faculty advisor. I also have expertise in e-learning development, and have designed and implemented online modules and interactive virtual lessons for high school students. Additionally, I have coached and mentored students in volleyball, both at the JV and varsity levels. I am proud of being part of a team that strives to provide high-quality education and opportunities for all students.
