I am excited for this next chapter in my story of life. While I have enjoyed following my passion for leadership in the corporate environment, I am now changing gears and focusing on leadership in my personal life with the new title of Stay-at-home Mom. The adventures of volunteering, coaching, and stepping up in my other passions will also allow me to focus on my well-being to be the best version of myself. I am excited to be more present in FIA, my female-in-action group concentrated on mind, heart, and fitness.I look forward to enjoying the game of golf with my dad and spending quality time with my mom who is a recent breast cancer survivor. Enjoying summers and breaks with my children is something I have always dreamt of doing. I do plan to return to work when the timing is right and bring a refreshed new perspective to my leadership style. I will miss the specialty chemicals industry and will enjoy listening to the ever-changing market dynamics from the consumer lens. Until we meet again.

I develop both technical and commercial presentations, design sales arguments and help lead the local sales team in developing sales. I have run many sales campaigns with the sales team to get projects running at full speed quickly and act as the local focal point for information and advice for sales. This has a multiplying effect to get every sales member functioning at their best for specific products. Additionally, I manage key accounts for The Ingredient House

Managed the Northeast and Mid-atlantic territory for the Food Industry. I worked closely with our technical applications team to promote value-added solutions to our customers. Actively updated forecasts, projects in our funnel and kept a close eye on the territory, budget and financials.

I worked collaboratively with the Customer Service representatives to understand customer needs. I then analyzed our Quality Service Metrics monthly to key in on any common trends. I implemented a new label system for our sampling departments globally to provide a uniform product. I worked with our global logistics team in handling freight claims to begin to minimize our logistics complaints.

Worked to understand various markets for potential growth opportunities. Participated in monthly strategic marketing meetings to understand focuses across our global unit.

I worked closely with the Industrial and Animal Nutrition Business unit to grow sales. I called on various types of industries such as: Fermentation, Cement, Paper and Pet Food. I collaborated with our Marketing team weekly to strategize on where and what to promote in the Animal Nutrition Industry. I was a part of a global team that participated in the companies first virtual forum in the Pet Food Industry. My main focus was on obtaining new business in this growing industry covering the US.

I had the opportunity at Harlan, to participate in growth studies for specific strains of rats and mice. Part of my time, I was working in the barriers collecting the growth measurements and collecting data. This experience helped me understand the methods and time it takes to qualify and determine feasability of studies. I spent the rest of my time in the office, analyzing the data and going through company literature relevant to the study I was working on. I also, was able to shadow the following departments and functions: customer service, sales and development.
