If I speak to you about what my soul wants, I find myself not wanting a full time accounting position, although I love helping others and absolutely find accounting, consulting and helping others one of the most rewarding things I have done in my career. Full time in an office has me cringing. I will always have space for those in need and always find myself working with companies helping them grow and prosper because it is so important for them to have someone who knows how to manage finances and help them become successful. And it is important to me to maintain my balance.With over 30 years in the construction industry as well as growing up in the industry with both parents in construction, my extensive knowledge both in the accounting and on the site as a Florida Certified Building Contractor, gives an advantage that not many in the industry can offer. Through the years of consulting, I also worked with and became a valued service to companies in restaurant, manufacturing, retail, insurance, service and property management. With this background and knowledge base, it gives me an insight into the needs of other industries and services as wellNow let's talk about what my soul screams for. Travel, sales of a product I love, creativity and working alongside my family. This is where Southern Sol comes in. My husband began it with a passion to create the "perfect" pork rub. After years of sharing it with friends and family, cooking for every gathering (a couple families to over 20 families), our children then 11 and 6 asked us to let them sell the seasoning at a farmers market. From there our creativity and love for sharing what we love grew. We built a cafe from the ground up with our seasoning as a basis. When we left to care for our ill parents and after years away, we came back full circle 6 years ago and began Southern Sol. Jeddy's Seasoning has had a special place in our heart for over 20 years and the hearts and tummies that love it too has grown and grown. I love sharing and selling it, but I also love the work I have done designing our logo, our labeling, our website and marketing. Finding ways to share it feeds the other side of my brain.
