We start this venture of Dasinong AgriTech to make money as well as make an impact on Chinese growers. We use a technology-based approach to tackle the low yield/efficiency issue that Chinese growers face. Our core product “Plant it Right” (Nong shi tian di) combines high-resolution weather, agronomic modeling and local agri-goods supply information to help growers take informed actions and make better decisions.

 Co-chaired public relations committee for Chinese Private Enterprise Pavilion at 2010 Shanghai Expo: • Coordinated government, media and other public relation resources for 50+ events in the180-day Expo period including some high profile events such as Swedish King’s meeting with Chinese entrepreneurs, Forbes Forum and Sino-U.S. Business Dialogue. • Prepared monthly updates and presented critical issues to the leadership committee, including top Chinese entrepreneurs such as Jack Ma of Alibaba. • Built model to measure the dollar value of public relation efforts and presented it as part of the overall Expo project review  Created CEO’s speaking points and power point presentations for speeches.

 Managed a 100-day change management communication program in the wake of a major acquisition and financial crisis, identified problems and provided communication solutions.  Mastered five key employee communication vehicles including intranet, newsletter, and town hall meeting etc. in one-month transition period.  Promoted to regional communication role in one year — significantly ahead of company average of three. Developed a campus recruitment champion and deployed with cross-functional team under Public Affairs Development Program (functional leadership development program).
