I wish people would not focus on the disablilities but look at the abilities within each person. The abilities is what defines a person. It is a huge reward seeing and watching the faces of my students learn.I am a Special Education teacher. I have a degree in Early Childhood/Special Education and have added the Special Education Adaptive Curriculm to my certification. I am currently teaching a self-contained SID/PID class and have some MOD students.I love it! I take pride in my students and look forward to seeing and teaching them daily. The classroom never has a dull moment and can be very entertaining at times. It can also be challenging. I would not trade my classroom for anything. My students have my heart and I will put all my heart into caring for and teaching them.
