Manages the logistical complexities of the management leadership training programs and overseeing the mix of instructors, training materials, space and participants in order to provide the most efficient and effective training possible within the limits imposed by time and available resources.

Learn from the senior members of the organization who have been involved for years or decades while also finding ways to engage young people more.

Teresa was the first black chairperson for the American Red Cross for the Illinois Capital Area Regional Chapter. Under her leadership, she has increased minority involvement in the Springfield community. Since serving on the board for the American Red Cross, she has also put three more blacks and one Native American to the board. Teresa promotes safety and educated the community about the Red Cross. She is the lead instructor for Save a Life Saturday that teaches CPR to the Springfield community.
