Providing Trauma-focused psychotherapy to survivors of human rights violations with severe and complex psychological needs, to confront and overcome their traumatic experiences and develop / regain confidence, resilience, independence and agency. The Foundations clients experience acute levels of psychological distress and often display disturbed behaviour patterns.I work closely as part of HBF's clinical team comprising of Doctors', Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists, and Psychology Trainees and as part of our broader MOIC (Model of Integrated Care) team, providing specialist assessments for newly referred clients and making appropriate use of complex referral information from a variety of sources including The Home Office, Legal Representatives, National Referral Mechanism (NRM), Medical Legal Reports (MLR's), in addition to liaising with other teams and agencies in order to make decisions about treatment plans.I am part of the joint UCL research into the effectiveness of providing Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET) to survivors of Human Trafficking suffering with Complex PTSD.Additionally I provide Supervision to clinical and non-clinical staff members
