Business Engagement Lead (Bel), Procurement - Medtech Americas
CurrentAccountable for delivering results in support of the NA MedTech procurement business strategy and objectives for all commercial and R&D categories. Lead Procurement business partner engagement including, Company Presidents, Platform Leaders, and other relevant cross-functional partners to articulate the business strategic priorities and translate it into procurements category strategy.· Build MedTech specific portfolio of opportunities to drive cost savings, positive P&L impact & growth across all categories.· Drive Fit for Purpose approach in optimizing a consolidated creative agency roster to improve quality, reduce waste and provide transparency to performance and price. $7M in savings of $120M in spend. Achieved through a combination of strategic planning, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a strong focus on operational efficiency.· Committee leader for the JNJ’s Procurement New Hire Immersion program. Working across all sectors to develop content focused procurement ways of working, learning and development, DE&I and sustainability.· Collaborate closely with travel suppliers to drive innovation through technology to improve the HCP Consultant travel experience.· Integration of Abiomed into our JNJ procurement taxonomy. Work across category leads to drive the rationalization of new suppliers across commercial and R&D. Estimated $2.4MM of T&E savings (air, hotel, ground) because of migration. Total of $30M in savings, 2025-2026.· Drive sustainability through our Supplier Engagement Innovation/Supplier Management process. Launch a first-of-its-kind pilot to drive sustainability of thermoform plastic rigid containers via recycling.
