I have been around law my entire life. My father was a police officer and hostage negotiator for 27 years. When he became a police officer, he promised to Protect and Serve the public. I have the same mentality when it comes to being a criminal defense lawyer. My desire to fight for the underdog led me to my career in criminal defense, and more specifically, DUI defense. It is my job to make sure that everyday citizens charged with DUI are not taken advantage of by the criminal justice system in the state of Connecticut. Most of my clients are regular people who have never been in trouble with the law and never will be again. I fight to make sure that one mistake does not come to define who they are and how they are viewed. My aggressive and diligent DUI defense earned me the nickname, "Lady DUI", in the Connecticut courthouses. The name has stuck, and I am proud of my identity as an advocate for those facing DUI.
