Currently finishing an 8 week contract at UIC in Chicago, which has been extended numerous times.

I was a Float Pool Nurse. I worked a different floor every day. Wherever there was a shortage of nurses, I would cover the shortage on that assigned floor for that day.

RN on Cardiac Unit, taking care of patients admitted with Cardiac symptoms/conditions.

Worked as a CNA and Tele Tech on the Cardiac Floor, while attending nursing school for my RN licensure.

Was store Vendor Contact and Install Coordinator for the Special Services Desk, dealing with all special order merchandise for all except kitchens dept. Kitchens had their own VTC/IC associate. I also served on the Regional audit team, traveled to other stores to audit the Special Service Desk books to help other store associates to organize and document their special order merchandise and installs paperwork for bookkeeping purposes. Was responsible for inventorying all special order merchandise weekly to cut down on shrink within the store. Worked with vendors to ensure correct merchandise for installs and to retrieve charge backs for damaged merchandise via shipping. I also tracked and coordinated with shippers to receive credit for store for merchandise damaged or missing in shipping. Was liaison between customer, vendor, installer, store manager and store departments to ensure quick smooth completion of all installs. I also worked with installers to make sure they had all merchandise and supplies needed for complete and timely installs. I had formerly worked as a cashier, mostly in returns and a special order desk associate prior to accepting the position as the IC/VTC position, which was formerly 2 - 40 hr/wk positions, combined into the one position. Was interviewed for a department manager position 3 times, but turn them down. Manager position included a lot more work for .25 cents more per hour. Responsibilities and work not commensurate with pay.

Operated my own cleaning service, servicing mostly single family homes and 1 business in Minooka.
