Worked on 0-1 gen AI creation tools and had been responsible for:• Reviewing all generative AI work from cross-functional design before it shipped into Instagram Direct • Designing features including Meta AI, Imagine, AI characters, AI stickers, Write with AI, AI themes (and more…) in Instagram DMs, working with WhatsApp, Messenger, Facebook, and Generative AI orgs to ensure cohesion in the family of apps • Leading design across three areas: quality and craft, messaging fundamentals (e.g. editing and deleting messages), and generative AI• Teaching and mentoring product designers in Origami prototyping, navigating stakeholder feedback, etc.

Most recent project: I designed AppliedVR's first iOS app, Pain Care app, a chronic pain tracker and tool that supports Pain Care VR.

Worked on the app-wide redesign of Snapchat, and worked on various app components and products, including Memories (Year in Review story, etc), Discover, Search, Friends, and Lens Studio branding.

Designed responsive websites and assisted on native app developments (MS Buddy) for Healthline's global rebrand. In 2017, I designed HL's first email template system for over 20 newsletters, helping to grow its audience to 4M subscribers and counting (as of 2019).

I enrolled in the MFA Comics pilot program at CCA from 2013-2014, among a cohort of twelve students from across the nation. In 2014, I began freelancing as a designer for a fashion-tech startup in San Francisco, which inspired me to quit grad school to pursue a UX Design career.During my time at CCA, I enrolled in graduate level storyboarding, illustration, graphic design, and creative writing courses for one year.Jan - May 2014While I took courses in the MFA Comics program, I assisted a Writing and Literature Instructor for his class "Writing For Designers" as a TA. I engaged my writing and research skills vital for communicating a designer's creative vision: "who they are, what inspires them, and who they design for." We taught on various genres, including factual reporting, interviewing design professionals, blog entries, and artists' statements.
