During the last decades the Swedish knowledge intensive service sector (for example IT and Technical consultants) has grown in size as well as in importance for innovation in a global context. Services today are dominant in our economy and export, for our industry as well as service sector. As a result the regulatory systems for education, research, trade, taxes and entrepreneurship need to be updated. By producing relevant reports, setting up meetings and seminars, using media for debate I influenced future oriented policies for politicians and policymakers.I worked in close cooperation with the member companies and I was responsible for leading Almega's Advisory Board for Research and Innovation (with CEO's, Technical Managers etc from member companies), planning and taking part in several governmental initiatives. We conducted an extensive and successful campaign to encourage 15-year-olds to chose the natural science program in upper secondary school.The Government recieved the official report, SOU 2010:28 Vändpunkt Sverige, from Teknikdelegationen in April 2010.As Head Secretary I set up the office and employed the staff, secretaries for the SOU and communicators, and had the managing role of the office.
