Serve as the assistant to the owner of Cortes Properties. As his assistant, I manage his calendar, arrange meetings and listing appointments, and prepare and distribute communications on his behalf. I also work with the owner to create and implement best practice policies and procedures for the growing team. I also serve as the transaction coordinator for a real estate team of three full time agents. In this role, I prepare listing documents, schedule inspections, receive and verify all documentation related to the real estate transaction and manage the contract to close stage by coordinating and cooperating with the title companies, lenders, agents and customers. I maintain the transaction data base and company records.

Provided administrative support for Chaplain Endorser; maintained accurate data base for chaplains; processed applications for individuals pursuing chaplain endorsement or chaplain candidacy through Converge Worldwide; accurately filed chaplain reports to the Veteran’s Administration and Department of Defense in a timely manner.

This was a temporary, volunteer position in which I was able to provide clerical and administrative support: update DOT/HR files, EPASS accounts, vehicle inventory along with data entry, filing, organizing projects. I was able to get them all caught up on their backlog so my work there was finished.

Served as the Credit Union’s Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Officer, managing all BSA reporting and compliance functions for the Credit Union. Managed the Credit Union’s Loss Prevention, Records Management and Bank Secrecy Act functions. Provided direction, coaching and performance appraisals for a team of 10 permanent employees and 2 temporary employees in the Operations Department. Worked with potential vendors while investigating possible process improvements to existing manual Operations functions. Collaborated across functional lines on a variety of process improvement teams, merger & computer conversion teams. Hired by President and CEO of startup community bank to coordinate the procurement of security equipment and various vendor contracts for de novo bank. Worked with President and affiliate banks to determine appropriate products and services for market. Served as liaison between enterprise Service Company and branch as well as between affiliate banks and the branch. Responsible for training of employees on computer systems, compliance, security and policies and procedures. Worked with IS Officer to develop and implement Disaster Recovery Plan.

Facilitated new teller training classes, new employee orientations and sales training classes for newly hired or newly promoted employees. Served as an ambassador for the Learning & Development Department to banking centers throughout the state of Florida.

Responsible for sales and service training program for 14-branch community bank. Responsible for the development and implementation of all training for 100+ employees. Also served as the Compliance and Marketing Officer for the bank.
