- Responsible for the physical and performance characterization method development of pharmaceutical products underdevelopment – application of multivariate data analysis tools in the context of Analytical Quality by Design.- Research, Development/Design and implementation of new analytical methodologies not only to improve already existingmethodologies, but also to recommend the inclusion of new forms of characterization of drugs under development in theanalytical packages offered by Hovione.- Provide training in the following areas of expertise: Biorelevant/QC dissolution (Apparatus I, II, III and IV), UV and TGA.- Attendance at meetings with clients for information sharing, discussion of results and clarification of the strategies appliedduring methods development.- Organization of workshop/webinars on physical and performance characterization of different pharmaceutical forms.- Participation in conferences to promote new analytical characterization services for drugs under development andknowledge sharing.Internal meetings with the analytical methods validation team to solve and overcome encountered challenges.- Guidance of master's students during dissertation period. Involvement in the following dissertation projects: “Role of residualsolvents on spray-dried amorphous solids dispersion tablets performance”; “Water-in-oil-in-water emulsions ofbiopharmaceuticals for administration by injection”.- Support the investigation of unknown physical and chemical phenomena that may occur during production, with the aim ofunderstanding and explaining the problem in order to solve it.
