Currently, I am pursuing a Integrated Master's Degree in Dentistry (5-year program) at the University of Porto, driven by my passion for helping people. I believe that a smile is more than just an expression; it is a powerful tool for spreading happiness and confidence in the world. My journey in the healthcare field has been a path of constant learning, and my curiosity and desire to enhance my skills are what motivate me every day.Before dedicating myself to Dentistry, I had the opportunity to study Nursing (for 2 years) and Accounting (also for 2 years) at the University of Minho. These experiences were fundamental in developing a range of skills that make me a more well-rounded individual today. In Nursing, I learned to handle complex and delicate situations, remain calm under pressure, manage my time better, and become even more empathetic, proactive, and autonomous. Direct contact with patients taught me the value of active listening, decision-making, problem-solving, and clear communication, all essential skills in any healthcare profession.On the other hand, the Accounting course provided me with a broader perspective on the organization and management of resources, which are crucial for efficient and responsible healthcare practice. Additionally, it gave me the ability to think critically, analyze data, and understand the importance of detail and precision.I am a person of values, determined and persistent. I believe that each challenge is an opportunity for growth, and I am always ready to learn and adapt. Being a good listener and observer helps me understand others' needs and provide the best possible care. Moreover, I am punctual and disciplined, qualities that I consider essential for ethical and effective work.I am excited to continue my journey in Dentistry, contributing to people's well-being and helping them feel confident and happy with their smiles.
