Executive DirectorClinic With A Heart Jun 2008 - Oct 2022I led a mid-size nonprofit in the provision of free healthcare and wrap-around support services. This faith-inspired nonprofit was founded in 2003 in Lincoln, NE., and serves up to 400 patients per month who are uninsured or underinsured. Under my leadership, the organization moved from being a transient clinic (moving to different locations throughout the city) to having a permanent location. Mission team sponsorship grew from 4 faith communities to 13 including 7 churches, a temple, 2 hospitals, and 3 teaching institutions.. Volunteer growth went from 200 to over 700, many of whom have a professional license. The breadth of service also increased augmenting the existing Medical, Dental, Physical Therapy, and Chiropractic we added mental health, vision, hearing, orthopedic, pain management, dermatology, hypertension services, and Street Medicine. I was responsible for staff management, strategic direction, and relationship building. Clinic with a Heart is funded through sponsorship, private donations, fundraising events, and grants. I worked closely with a governing board including dashboard communication, business continuations/succession planning, and Board Development. Under my leadership, the Clinic received a "Gold Standard" rating for quality from the National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics. -
