I’m a fitness and aquatics enthusiast! Swimming has been a part of my life since childhood, starting with my first lessons at the Y in Henderson, Texas. I swam competitively for 15 years, managed public pools in Austin, trained lifeguards in lifesaving techniques, and taught hundreds of swim lessons. After moving to St. Louis for graduate school at WashU, where I earned my Master of Social Work and MBA, I continued my love of the water as an adult, participating in sprint triathlons, adventure races, and receiving my SCUBA certification this summer! As a proud mom of two beautiful kiddos, Charlie and Sydney, I’m inspired by the YMCA's mission of community and inclusion. I’m excited for my new role as the Chesterfield Y Aquatics Director and look forward to strengthening our programs for all members through swim lessons, swim team, water fitness, lap swimming, and recreational use.
