Improve launch policy compliance by building in policy automation and checkpoints into the Core Developer workflow products.-Compiled research and co-created a strategy for how we should approach Privacy needs for Core Developer products. Facilitated relationships with Privacy and Security organizations. -Designed and implemented a research program to advise on staffing models for manual release operations programs. -Implemented a Research and Measurement program, which helped pivot the strategy from manual operations to scaling via tooling and automation.

Ran Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Integrity (EDII) experiments across Google PAs, in close partnership with EDII and Staffing orgs. I focused on hiring & internal mobility projects. -Co-organized a 2 day diversity hiring sprint attended by 23 cross-functional reps across Staffing, Diversity, and Tech organizations. Based on the sprint, co-designed a comprehensive hiring process revamp to drive more diversity. -Drove the first phase of the program to create revised interview guidelines, and standardized interview question/answer guides for software engineers, in partnership with the Global Head of Hiring Equity. -Partnered with Staffing to scale inclusive hiring interviewer training to 5 different product areas. -Established and cultivated cross-functional relationships with Employee Engagement, Staffing, and product area D&I PgMs.

Created a diversity and inclusion program in Chrome, serving as the first official D&I program manager at Google within Engineering. -Defined and managed a brand-new diversity and inclusion program for Chrome. Defined strategy, acquired resources, ran diversity council meetings, and drove all end-to-end execution. -Drafted and managed our D&I org-wide communications-Ran 5+ events for Chrome: Chrome Manager Summit (2X), Chrome University (2X), Chrome Inclusion Summit (1X). Recruited 150+ volunteers to support the events and led 3 planning committees. Events attended by 850+ attendees across 20+ offices over a 15-month period.

Served as the first cross-functional PgM for product operations across 1000 person org. Supported VP of Engineering and VP of Product Management within Chrome Browser. Drove strategy planning processes and improvements to org-wide communications. -Proposed, implemented, and executed an annual planning process that rolled out org-wide for the first time. Drove the presentation narrative structure for an SVP review presenting the 2018 strategy. This resulted in positive, non-zero headcount grants, the most out of the entire PA across 10 areas, and a set of detailed annual org-wide OKRs.- Created Chrome’s 2017 employee survey action plan & drove projects to address key themes.- Created and implemented improvements for org-wide communications: Chrome all-hands content planning, Chrome-wide newsletters, internal site page.

Worked on product operations programs for GCP as well as team operations for Cloud Program Managers, the largest program management org at Google. -Created and implemented structure for TPM hiring efforts. Directly managed our internal job posting by screening ~100 candidates and managing a pipeline of 20+ active transfer candidates. Team hired ~30 internal and external T/PgM hires for open roles in 4 months.-Ran the overall launch process across all of Cloud. Collected, refined and published all cross-functional requirements in one place. -Identity Access Management (IAM) was the biggest customer adoption blocker for GCP. Part of the IAM launch required that all GCP services in scope integrated with IAM. Successfully tracked IAM service integration for frontend, backend, and roles testing requirements across ~28 teams in order to hit a mid-Dec launch milestone.

Worked on gSuite Privacy team on enterprise compliance and data use programs. -Ran a company-wide program to roll out more Google products (e.g. Hangouts, Google Plus, Google Voice) to gSuite Enterprise users through meeting increased compliance requirements. Worked with 28 teams across Search, Google Plus, Google Now, Hangouts, and infrastructure teams to get first-time ISO 27001/SOC 2 certifications. Results were recognized in business news and Hangouts for Work launch. -gSuite HIPAA BAA Update: Launched the Apps HIPAA BAA Update, which extended our BAA term to be coterminous with the gSuite for Work agreement and added in Sites as “Included Functionality.”

Created a hiring program for technical roles within Chrome, Chrome OS, and gSuite. Worked with 2 Eng VPs and 50 hiring managers. -Hiring: Oversaw staffing for 150 software engineers for critical projects, achieving 150% of individual hiring goals. -Headcount management: Owned and managed Chrome & gSuite global headcount budget. Tracked and communicated headcount status and changes with Chrome and gSuite leadership.

-Led successful recruiting effort that brought in 43 new hires for Chrome over a 6-month period. -Increased weekly resume flow from 8 to 27 resumes (300% growth).-Served as a key liaison between Engineering, Staffing, and HR to surface hiring requirements, discuss priorities, and facilitate candidate pipeline tracking.
