An amazing total immersion in the world of communication and change management. CSUC's creation from two existing consortium gave me the chance of leading:- Brand change management (corporate image, website...)- New communication channels, both internal and external (blog, newsletters, intranets...)Besides that, other tasks I have to take care of as well are the following:- Supervise corporate communication actions- Plan communication and marketing of services- Plan and organise events (congresses, conferences, workshops...)- Lead or participate in communication actions for several European projects (GENIUS, DC4Cities, Numexas)Fortunately, I'm not alone on this adventure! I count on the support of a small, but truly valuable, team of 3 people.

With no doubt 2010 was a challenging year. We not only started the process of launching the new brand name, but we also expanded our sphere of activities and we lightened up services that had been offered for many years and were largelly unknown by many users.And how did we do it? Working on a new website following a user-centered design (thanks optimyzet.com!) and creating a profile on those social networks where our users were. Always thinking of them!In only one year, brand-new website, our place on social networks and a corporate video where our users themselves explain the company's services (http://youtu.be/3JSOa_RSULk, good job Pandora Box!). Finally, to make it a little bit more exciting, by the end of that year I started to work on a new e-Participation European project. MyUniversity (http://www.myuniversity-project.eu), with 13 partners from 7 European countries, and where my main responsability is to coordinate 5 Catalan universities and its e-Participation portals, using a common methodology to promote university participation. I will always remember my first European project :-)

How far are those days when we published a corporate journal in paper! (Teraflop, http://bit.ly/1oGXHMn).Congresses and conferences weren't broadcasted live, no hashtag was announced to follow what's going on... And how did we get to survive without Survey Monkey? Oh, yes, we spent some hours with excel and powerpoint.And a lot of paper was used for communications... flyers, brochures... too much paper... only from time to time, we sent some mailings.Luckily, to us and to our environment, communication has turned into digital.

After several years working on regional press, local TV and many other part-time jobs, I joined the Supercomputing Center of Catalonia, a great opportunity to get in close touch and specialize in science and technology.For those 6 years, my main responsabilities... mmm... let me think... oh, wait, I had not responsabilities!!! I enjoyed interviewing researchers, writing pieces of news, by myself, free of KPI's and project officers... OK, it was not the kind of excitement I like, but it would be to have a week like that from time to time ;-)
