I started working in in Turun Teknologiakiinteistöt (revenue 37 M € in 2022) soon after it was founded (2010). Over the years my role and responsibilities have increased, and I’ve had an enormous opportunity to evolve professionally. I have played a key role in growing and strengthening company’s brand recognition with marketing, PR and through social media channels and our own web sites. Our unique approach to marketing communications has made Turun Teknologiakiinteistöt one of the best-known brands in the premises industry and, by far, number one real estate investment company in the Turku region. We have showed that business to business -marketing is far from boring to boring, instead, it can be something people want to follow – even if they never needed a single room.My responsibilities include everything from communications strategy to producing marketing materials (advertisements, publications, texts, photos, and videos). I lead a compact, but effective marketing and communications team of whose mission is to create interesting, entertaining, and engaging content with the ultimate goal of growing brand awareness.

Uusi Oluttehdas is a side project that we started with my husband after we found an enormous amount of old, unused labels and brochures inside the floor of our old house. The materials belonged to a brewing company that operated in Turku between 1870 and 1920. In order to continue the magnificent story of the company, we decided to re-establish the brewery in 2020.

My first job after graduating from university was to help immigrants to find jobs in Finland and decide whether they are entitled to unemployment benefits or not. This position underlined me the fact that life can be wretched. Sometimes it gives you not only lemons but wars, political persecution, and insuperable poverty.
