Sr. Compensation Analyst
Current• Responsible for the administration of the annual merit increase and bonus process. Compiles data from the HRIS system for performance review eligibility, and distributes salary sheets to HR and line management. Works closely with internal team and HR management to enhance system.• Administers annual bonus programs for all levels of management within the organization.• Works with HR and line management to review positions throughout the organization and develop recommendations on appropriate level of compensation, title, and FLSA status. • Works with line management and HR staff to develop descriptions for new and existing positions. Reviews and approves all completed job descriptions.• Assists manager with development of salary grades and ranges and other structured pay systems for the organization. Reviews comprehensive market data on an annual basis to determine if structures are externally competitive. Recommends movement in structure, if necessary, including costing and incumbent analyses.• Completes out of cycle compensation requests.• Assists in incentive plan design, administration and project management for strategic business area.• Administers proposed salary and incentive adjustments for conformance to established guidelines, policies and practices.• Audits jobs for content and prepares job descriptions reflecting job responsibilities, activities, duties and requirements.• Reviews requests for new/revised jobs or classifications to determine appropriate salary grade assignment.• Participates in compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive salary information to determine company's competitive position.• May formulate recommendations regarding development of company salary structure, FLSA exemptions, job revisions and organizational structures.
