Participated in weekly observation and tracking sessions for domestic violence victims currently going through both the civil and criminal court systems. This included tracking all courtroom behavior and dispositions (both positive and negative) of observed cases. Data was assessed, compiled and disseminated in an annual report to those within the justice system who hold authority to change policy and procedure. The goal of this program is to identify strengths, challenges, needs and trends in an effort to effect change within the system. The "Court Watch Report" is also made available to the public.

Completed State of Illinois (ICASA approved) 60hr sexual assault advocacy training program. Fulfilled contractual commitment of completing twenty-four 12hr on-call volunteer shifts, providing acute crisis intervention, including medical and legal advocacy, to survivors of sexual violence. Shifts were conducted through the emergency room departments of fourteen hospitals within the Chicago area. Other agency roles included: assisting with volunteer interviews for new program applicants; attending in-service professional development activities and representing agency while participating in socially active community functions. July, 2014: Awarded the responsibility of training and mentoring select program trainees working toward Sexual Assault Medical Advocacy completion. Also trained in "3rd Level" duties as a weekend Volunteer Supervisor: role entailed dispatching advocates on emergency room crisis calls; served as point of contact and liaison between emergency medical personnel and advocates in order to provide leadership assistance and guide process during on-call periods. 3rd Level responsibilities performed during on-call, 60 hour weekend shifts.

Provided family support services for chronically ill children and their families. Oversaw daily activities in the Family Life Center, which included developmental play groups for inpatient children and respite activities for parents and caregivers. Assisted with the coordination of special events inside the center. In addition to paid position, also provided one year of volunteer services in the Infectious Disease outpatient clinic, which primarily served children living with HIV and AIDS.
