Retiring after 29 years at Members 1st Credit Union, formerly North State Public Employees Credit Union and Cal State #13, has been a bittersweet experience. Time to move forward in our family businesses, but I treasure the relationships and support I have had and have extended to others throughout my credit union career.

My responsibilities include supervising the Administration, Accounting, and Quality Control Departments, and monitoring all aspects of the credit union's financial position. This includes the budget process, forecasting, asset liability management, all financial reporting and audit compliance details, including internal auditing. My Executive Management Team responsibilities include developing policies and planning for the future, as well as closely working with credit union staff and volunteers.

I started my employment as a bookkeeper, and as the credit union grew, my responsibilities grew, and expanded to include human resources for a season, in addition to responsibility for all aspects of accounting and finance.
