As a Shift Supervisor with Starbucks it is my responsibility to provide legendary customer service by ensuring myself and my fellow partners are attentive to customer needs, providing solutions when issues arise, and provide them with a "third place" experience. I am in charge of maintaining a sense of calm and control during periods of high volume sales. I am required to balance the safe before and after each shift and make change for tills and maintain cash handling integrity at all times. I help with new promotion set ups and ensure that all partners are educated on the product or offers we are promoting. I work directly with my manager to ensure or store is meeting/exceeding our goals. During my reviews I consistently "meet" or "exceed" all requirements for my position and I am regularly commended for my exceptional customer service.

I was assisting a fellow American at setting up her business. I was in charge of ordering product for the store and developing relationships with our vendors. I dealt with the local government to ensure we got our business license as well as learning the tax laws. I was also the main employee and was in charge of the store when my boss was out of the country.

I worked as a barista and Shift Supervisor at Starbucks for 5 1/2 years before moving out of the country for 4 years. During that time I consistently met/exceeded all requirements for my positions. I was Safety and Security Specialist for a year prior to being promoted to supervisor. During this period of time I worked at two of the highest volume stores in my district. I supported the store manager in all store initiatives, including promotional set ups, new partner training, and cash management.
