About Teri Root
I have been teaching for 27 years now. While many things like technology and student characteristics have changed during that time period, two things have not: my passion for teaching and my philosophy of teaching. I believe in "learning by doing." So in every class that I teach I attempt to create opportunities for students to get real-world experiences. Often that means working with "clients" both internal and external to the university. I feel blessed every day that I have a career that I love more and more every year.
