I was responsible for helping customers, solving their problems, troubleshooting, answering their questions about the newer technology on the market, ringing in sales transactions, processing refunds, as well as selling cellular services and phones. During down time, I maintained stock levels and processed orders, set displays, and kept up with store standards. As acting Assistant Manager these duties were more of my responsibility, as well as training new associates, keeping older associates up-to-date on their knowledge based activities, making runs to the bank for change, doing store deposits, opening and closing the store, scheduling when the manager was away, processing store shipments, attending telephone conference calls, helping with in-store audit counts, and accessing the accuracy of merchandising layouts.
