Operations Assistant/Trainer
CurrentHere, I direct organizational development and training for more than 75 employees, including pharmacy managers, staff pharmacists, and technicians across 25 pharmacies representing $128M in annual revenue. My role ensures that pharmacy employees maintain compliance with state and federal legal and regulatory requirements, as well as internal company policies.My responsibilities include advising individual site managers to ensure that their teams score well on internal audits.I joined a workgroup formed to define the responsibilities of the Regional Operations Assistant / Trainer, and successfully trained four new Regional Operations Assistants / Trainers.Within the last two years, I have helped to debut four new pharmacies in Region 25, two pharmacies in Region 6, and one pharmacy in Region 22. I also participated in the transfer of inventory and records for three Oak Street Health pharmacies to Genoa Healthcare.I also contributed to a division-wide biennial controlled substance inventory review impacting approximately 300 locations.I was a recipient of the 2021 President’s Club Award, nominated by colleagues for going above and beyond.
