As the Coordinator of Secondary Instructional Technology in Frisco ISD for 6 years, I have had many responsibilities. I supervise and lead a large team of Digital Learning Coaches focusing on instructional design, software/hardware troubleshooting and support, and professional growth through online training, in person training and coaching. I collaborate with my team on analyzing current needs within our district and use this to create and maintain multiple resources to support the use of numerous technology tools for our staff and students. I also work closely with the teaching and learning department designing resources and training to support our district's strategic plans. Additionally, I am the learning management system administrator handling day to day support, LTI setups, troubleshooting and SIS integration. In my 7 years as a Digital Learning Coach, I worked closely with the educators on my campus to design engaging learning opportunities for our students. I was also tasked with designing professional learning opportunities for our staff in a variety of modalities including online training, whole group in person training, small group collaborations and individual coaching. In my 9 years in the classroom as a science teacher and instructional coach, I developed curriculum and instructional materials for my classroom to instruct and engage my students. Not only did I focus on my content, but I also focused on incorporating Future-Ready skills and STEM skills into my daily tasks. Skills that I developed from these positions include; leadership, coaching, troubleshooting, time management, project management, instructional design, curriculum development, adult learning, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, video editing, graphic design, collaboration with subject matter experts. Earlier in my career I had successful jobs as a plasma and wet etch process and equipment engineer at both Texas Instruments and a research and development company, Ball Semiconductor. At Texas Instruments, I supervised a team of technicians and was tasked with overseeing the daily operation and maintenance of all equipment in the plasma deposition, plasma etch and wet etch operations. At Ball Semiconductor, I collaborated with my fellow engineers to develop chemical processes and equipment needed to wet etch a spherical semiconductor in a contactless system. During this time my team was awarded with a patent for our development of a wet etch machine.
