-Lobbied Congress and the White House to encourage leaders to support poverty and hunger reduction bills by writing letters.-Worked remotely by calling and emailing Congressmen and Senators to support particular bills such as the Electrify Africa Act and the Global Food Security Act (both of which passed in 2016).-Fundraised $455 for the project’s cause to help with their advocacy in global food security, food aid reform, child and mother survival, and access to clean water, sanitation, and power.-Mobilized by recruiting members of my community to lobby with the Borgen Project.

-Researched and promoted evidence-based medicine at the Georgetown University Medical Center Pharmedout project by creating informative PowerPoints and analyzing the research and data of previous studies to determine their legitimacies.-Educated the public through Pharmedout.org on pharmaceutical practices that can be harmful, such as conflict of interest between pharmaceutical representatives and doctors, disease mongering, and the lack of evidence for widely used low testosterone drugs.-Used Excel to organize data and findings into binders for the director of PharmedOut to use as a reference tool.
