A proud Cree Métis (Scottish, Maskēko/Swampy Cree, Polish, French, Irish) with community connections to the historic Cumberland House, Saskatchewan (Treaty 5) and is a Red River Métis citizen. With 20 years experience in communications, consulting, design and sales, I have learned that every endeavour needs to be guided by Indigenous values of trust, respect, reciprocity, and community. In my leadership roles, including Director of Business Development at SAY Magazine and Director of Sales and Marketing at Indigenous Works, I have focused on promoting and amplifying Indigenous voices while fostering collaborations that drive positive change in the everyday lives of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit communities.As a Consultant at Pathways Executive Search, I am expanding my circle and my skills to support the recruitment, retention and advancement of Indigenous candidates while also supporting capacity building and economic prosperity for Indigenous communities.
