Company Commander

•Responsible for the detection, apprehension, or deterrence of Customer and Associate activity that would otherwise result in a loss to Company assets.•Assists in promoting and monitoring compliance to Company policies and procedures related to theft prevention, safety, and inventory control.•Promote awareness and training within various areas of operational execution.

•Recovers any merchandise that has not been purchased and acts as a theft deterrent through physical presence and prompt observation.•Responds to store alarm systems and evaluates the causes of their activation.•Responsible for daily testing of all store EAS equipment•Communicates concerns directly to the Store Director/Operations Manager and the Loss Prevention Department regarding theft or similar mishaps.•Establishes training classes to store personnel and new hires regarding loss prevention.•Provides ongoing training's in order to ensure methods of preventative theft.•Periodically conducts receipt checks and internal investigations.
