Terren is also the Founder, Chairman, CEO and majority shareholder of Ontrak Inc. (Nasdaq: OTRK), which is a leading AI and telehealth-enabled, virtualized healthcare treatment company. He is also the Chairman, CEO and majority shareholder of publicly traded BioVie, Inc. (BIVI), the industry leader in the development of two orphan drug candidates for the treatment of rare liver diseases. BioVie is entering a Phase 2b/3 pivotal study. Additionally, Terren is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of NeurMedix, Inc., a biotechnology company with a focus on inflammatory, neurological and neuro-degenerative diseases. NeurMedix’s lead compound NE3107 has shown efficacy in 11 pre-clinical and 6 human studies. The company has just received the approval from the FDA to proceed to a pivotal phase III study on Alzheimer’s Disease.Terren is also the Chairman, CEO and largest shareholder of Verde, Inc, the 100% plant-based, compostable, 100% bio-degradable plastics company. The company has produced the first hundred percent bio-degradable plastic in the world that can be used in all manufacturing functions. The plastic “dissolves” in the soil without a trace of petroleum byproducts. Terren is also Chairman and largest shareholder of the hot blockchain company, CasperLabs, which enables smart contract chains to scale at fast speeds, and corrects for the deficiencies of Ethereum. Before Ontrak, BioVie, NeurMedix, Verde, Inc, and CasperLabs, Terren was a senior executive and board member at several other publicly-traded growth companies, including serving as Chairman and the largest beneficial shareholder of Cray Inc, the supercomputer company acquired by Hewlett Packard Enterprise in 2019 in a transaction valued at approximately $1.4 billion.Terren previously held senior executive positions with the investment banking firms Goldman Sachs, First Boston, and Drexel Burnham Lambert where he was a high profile securities trader and arbitrager.
