Intake Assistant
Current-Performs a pivotal role as an Intake assistant, overseeing the intake process for all homeless clients referred to the HLPS program and hence ensuring that each client is matched with one of four supportive-housing partner agencies contracted with CBC (Catholic Charities Community Services, The Bridge, Services for the Underserved, and WellLife) and facilitating further connections between said-clients and a menagerie of affordable housing initiatives, thereby contributing to community welfare and stability.-Utilizes strong organizational skills to efficiently manage administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and handling correspondence.-Conducts comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and eligibility for housing assistance, ensuring accurate and timely placement in suitable programs.-Implements data analysis techniques and leverages softwares such as Excel to track and evaluate program metrics, enabling informed decision-making and continuous improvement strategies.Collaborates effectively with interdisciplinary partner agencies composed of social workers, housing advocates, and government agencies, to streamline housing-placement processes and thus maximize program impact.-Demonstrates empathy, sensitivity, and cultural competence in interacting with diverse populations, fostering trust and rapport with clients and stakeholders.
