One is a Self Checkout product (CHEC). The other product is called ACE.▪ Added new features to CHEC.▪ Analyzed logs from customer defect reports to determine the cause, recreate the problem in a lab and fix bugs if found.▪ Coded in Java, C++ and an internal XML language called lane code.

▪ Contracted to work on two projects at Cisco/Synamedia.▪ Fixed customer issues with Cisco AnyRes Live (CAL) and Cisco AnyRes Video (CAV) on demand products. Bugs included increasing number of supported audio streams, closed caption/teletext translation issues, HLS packaging issues, etc.▪ CAL and CAV are written in C++ and java.▪ Second project is Media Packaging Engine (MPE). Fixed costumer issues in both HLS and Dash packaging as well as add new features.▪ MPE runs in a Docker container. MPE is written in C++, compiled with clang.▪ Worked on automated testing of MPE using perl scripts to call OpenShift.commands.▪ Fixed clang static analyzer and memory sanitizer issues in MPE.▪ Fixed code hot spots found in MPE by creating flamegraphs inside Docker container.

▪ Sole developer who designed and wrote a financial trading platform in C++ with DirectX and XAML in Visual Studio as a UWP.▪ Displayed bar charts and trading indicators to the user. Had both real time tick and quote as well as rapid historical capability.▪ Integrated ActiveTick LLC API into the trading platform.▪ Integrated Interactive Broker API into the trading platform.▪ Designed form the ground up to be very fluid and responsive to present information to traders quickly and intuitively.

▪ Designed a Quad HD Super Wide FOV Virtual Reality Head Mount Display.▪ Co-designed a 64 megapixel 360 3D camera that shoots 30 frames per second.▪ Design of a 360 3D camera with FOV fisheye lens that has no stitching.▪ Extended VRPlayer, virtual reality player for the PC, with Microsoft Studio in C# to play video from the camera onto the HMD that we developed.▪ Extensive research into Virtual Reality technology and the 360 3D video market.▪ Extensive work with ffmpeg encoding with h.264 and h.265. Wrote filters for high performance processing and scaling of 4 video steams into one.

▪ Verification architect for Sonics Inc. Designed the verification methodology for the entire company. Wrote infrastructure in UVM/Systemverilog/Python/SystemC/C++.▪ Added features to SBTest, a python program to verify the Silicon BackPlane.▪ Implemented both the OCP 1.0 and OCP 2.0/2.1 protocol checkers in C++ with the TestBuilder API to monitor the connection signals.▪ Implemented the TB unit checker for Silicon BackPlane product using Testbuilder/C++.▪ For S3220 developed an internal API for Sonics called the Checker Monitor Interface to increase reuse and ease the design of unit checkers using C++ and Testbuilder.▪ Implemented the S3220 IA Unit Checker using Testbuilder/C++. This task was on the critical path for the company. Accomplished it in 1 month to meet a critical revenue target for the company.▪ Implemented the S3220 OCPX protocol checker using Testbuilder/C++.▪ Implemented SMX TAT Unit Checker using Testbuilder/C++. This unit was one of the largest units in the SMX design.▪ Maintained and added features to SMX TAT unit over a 2 year period.▪ Technical leader for the SystemC migration project. The SMX Testbuilder unit checkers were converted to SystemC. I completed the TAT unit conversion. All unit checkers were successfully converted to SystemC models.▪ Implemented the SSX SystemC TAT Unit Checker.▪ Designed, implemented and debugged the OVM test for the SGN router project.▪ Served on the OCP-IP Verification Workgroup for Sonics Inc.▪ Have worked on every major product produced by Sonics Inc. Products include Silicon BackPlane, S3220, SMX, SLX, SSX, SGN. Received two promotions during my 10 years at Sonics Inc.▪ Lead inventor for US Patent 7194658 titled various methods and apparatuses for interfacing of a protocol monitor to protocol checkers and functional checkers.

▪ Verified Interrupt Control Logic for several embedded microprocessors.▪ Designed and implemented a new programming language, Logic Control Language, for IBM to shorten and ease the verification process.▪ Verified the first version of IBM’s CoreConnect Technology.▪ Used assembler, C++ and perl to verify the embedded microprocessors. Used MTI, VCS and VerilogXL to simulate the microprocessors.
